MUSTAFIZ HAKIM
Celebrating handwoven jamdani fabrics inspired by the beauty of Bangladesh, Mustafiz Hakim brings a touch of Bengali luxe to the UK fashion market.
THE PROBLEM
Mustafiz Hakim set out to bring the vibrancy of traditional Bangladeshi fabrics, beautifully crafted into Western-style clothing, to the UK market. Their goal was to celebrate the rich culture of Bangladesh while adding a modern twist to their fashion line. The challenge lay in creating a brand that not only reflected the high-quality, handcrafted nature of the garments but also balanced cultural heritage with contemporary style. The brand needed to resonate with a UK audience while staying true to its roots, all while showcasing the artistry and premium craftsmanship behind each piece.
THE SOLUTION
To capture the essence of Mustafiz Hakim’s vision, we created a brand identity that seamlessly blends the vibrancy of Bangladeshi culture with modern, Western fashion. The logo design, featuring a lotus-inspired motif, symbolizes growth and beauty, using earthy greens and warm, natural tones to reflect the handcrafted quality of the fabrics. The elegant yet contemporary typeface balances tradition with sophistication, mirroring the fusion of cultures within the clothing line. Every detail of the brand—from the colours to the logo—communicates luxury and craftsmanship, appealing to a discerning UK market whilst celebrating the richness of Bangladeshi heritage.
